Ready to learn a new way to communicate? Join our fun and friendly class to get started with American Sign Language (ASL)! We’ll cover the basics, from simple signs and phrases to some cool cultural tips. It’s a great way to meet new people and start chatting in ASL, whether you’re curious or looking to connect with the Deaf community. No experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!

Instructor: Mindy Stricker
Mindy (Hobson) Stricker is a passionate teacher with a love for Sign Language. She graduated from Henry County High and went on to get her bachelor’s in Sign Language Interpreting from Tennessee Temple University and a master’s in Deaf Education from the University of Nebraska. With 10 years of experience as an interpreter and 3 years teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, Mindy is excited to share the beauty of American Sign Language with others and help her students thrive.
Fee: $300 (includes all materials and instruction)
