Free Motion Class Description

Have you ever wanted to try free motion quilting? Are you afraid to try? Then this class is for you! We will learn the steps to setting up your machine for free motion and then explore several designs that can easily be mastered on your regular sewing machine, such as curly q’s, stippling, swirls, etc.

Class requirements:

- a sewing machine that has feed dogs that can be lowered

- a free motion foot for the machine

- 6 quilt sandwiches (2 pieces of cotton fabric with batting between them) measuring approximately 12” x 12”.

- Thread that contrasts with the quilt sandwiches

- Normal sewing supplies

- Quilting gloves if you have them
