Learn how to weave using a rigid heddle loom!
This class focuses on the rigid heddle loom. The rigid heddle is a simple two harness loom that is very versatile for weaving a wide range of projects. In this class students will learn to warp the loom using a direct warp method. We will also discuss reading a simple weaving chart, along with choosing the appropriate material and finishing. At the end of the class you will have a beautiful scarf to take home.
For students wanting to familiarize themselves ahead of class, Lezlie recommends the book Weaving Made Easy by Liz Gibson.
