Learn how to weave using a rigid heddle loom!
This class focuses on the rigid heddle loom. The rigid heddle is a simple two harness loom that is very versatile for weaving a wide range of projects. In this class students will learn to warp the loom using a direct warp method. We will also discuss reading a simple weaving chart, along with choosing the appropriate material and finishing. At the end of the class you will have a beautiful table runner to take home. You will be able to choose two colors of your choice. (must register & pay by 6/18 to choose colors and instructor will do her best to accommodate all requests).
For students wanting to familiarize themselves ahead of class, Lezlie recommends the book Weaving Made Easy by Liz Gibson.
