Intermediate Watercolor Painting

Delve deeper into the captivating world of watercolor with this intermediate course. Building upon foundational skills, students will explore advanced techniques such as:

• Brushwork Mastery: Develop control over brushstrokes, achieving a range of textures and effects.

• Color Theory in Depth: Learn to mix vibrant and harmonious colors, understanding underpainting and glazing techniques.

• Compositional Exploration: Create dynamic and visually compelling compositions using the principles of design.

• Specialized Effects: Discover techniques like wet-on-wet, dry brush, and salt effects to add unique character to your paintings.

Throughout the course, students will complete several paintings, gaining confidence and expanding their creative expression. No prior experience is necessary.
