Dish Towel Weaving Class
Learn the art of weaving while creating beautiful, functional dish towels.
This hands-on weaving class will not only teach you to create stunning hand woven dish towels, but also equip you with the foundational skills to weave a wide range of other beautiful and useful items like placemats, scarves, table runners, and shawls.
Handwoven dish towels are a joy to use. They are incredibly absorbent, dry dishes beautifully, and launder effortlessly, lasting for years to come.
In this class, you'll learn:
Fundamental Weaving Techniques: Master the basics of weaving on a 4-heddle loom, guided by an experienced instructor with over 20 years of weaving and teaching experience.
Material Selection and Preparation: Discover the best yarns and fibers for creating durable and absorbent dish towels.
Creating Stunning Designs: Explore a variety of weaving patterns and techniques that can be applied to a range of projects.
Finishing Touches: Learn how to finish your woven pieces professionally, ensuring they are both beautiful and long-lasting.

Class Meets:
Saturday Jan 18, 25 and Feb 1 from 9am-4pm- feel free to bring a lunch and snacks
Materials Needed: All materials, instruction, and studio use are provided. Students will be welcome to use the weaving studio during their free time to work on their project.
