Erik Stonebraker will teach you step-by-step to make your own loose acrylic painting. You will end up with a beautiful 30x40 hydrangea lavender & blue painting to hang in your home or gift to someone special!
For teens and adults. No experience necessary. During this course, you will learn how to:
prep a canvas
paint an undercoat
paint a soft background with soft shadows
make objects set or rest on a surface
design & sketch in a vase
sketch in the “shapes” of hydrangeas
glaze
use MIXING WHITE and understand the difference between MIXING WHITE & TITANIUM WHITE
“soften” or “blurr-out” hedges
“gray-out” colors & why
know where the “light” is coming from and why you need to know
varnish a finished painting
